Rookie Days

Frequently Asked Questions

What can we expect at Rookie Day?

Potential campers will partake in a range of camp activities to get a feel for what it is like to b e a Brant Laker. This includes sports/activities, a swim in our lake, a bunk tour, and some time with current campers and counselors. Meanwhile, parents will take a guided tour of campus with our directors. The tour will explore our facilities while also providing an opportunity to learn about our philosophy and what makes us unique.

Can siblings join?

Of course! We love siblings and will have some age appropriate activities suited for them while their brothers play with other campers and potential campers. Just be sure to let us know they are coming! If your son has a sister, we highly recommend visiting our sister camp, Point O’ Pines Camp for Girls while you are in the area.

What should we bring?

Your potential camper(s) should wear sneakers and athletic clothing as they will be playing and partaking in camp activities. They should also bring a bathing suit and towel for the lake. Parents should wear comfortable walking shoes, as our campus is quite large and hilly.

Will lunch or dinner be served?

Rookie Days starting at 11am will include lunch. Rookie Days starting at 2pm will include a snack.
