Henry first came to camp through Universities in 2004. Richie G actually picked him up from Chestertown at the sweet age of 20! It was his first real travel experience abroad on his own. He has fond memories of those first few years, Bobby Gs golf cart, and his constant reminder that “these kids need more water!” He completed six years with time spent in all three mini camps, even two as a golf coach! However the bond with AB as Inter B Area Head was special and he adored Uncle Merl, “everybody up, up, up!” Henry returned in 2024 back on the Row! This time with his son William, whilst his daughter Thea attended POP. Henry met his wife, Louise, at camp more than 20 years ago and is your “classic Englishman straight up.” The main reason he became a teacher of Physical Education was because of BLC. He loves cricket, running, golf, soccer and has made a semi pro life as a field hockey coach. BLC is and will always be a truly special place for Henry and his family. There’s no looking back now!
