Head Chef
Abu Started took over as Head Chef of Brant Lake in the 1980s while only in his early 20s! Over 40 years later and Abu has never missed a summer, providing delicious and healthy meals for a community of almost 600 people three times a day. Abu is from Turkey but lives with his wife Hini in Florida where he has been a top chef for a number of different restaurants. Abu and Hini welcomed their first child, Amirjan, in February of 2025.
