Visiting and Touring Camp

Join us for a special visit program while camp is in session!

During the camp season we run special visiting and touring days for prospective campers and their parents. We highly recommend seeing camp on one of these dates as Rich Gersten and other Key Staff will have more time to spend with you, the visiting period is longer and your son will be able to participate in some activities as well as meet some counselors and campers while some of the discussion takes place.

A review of BLC’s philosophy, traditions and program will be covered followed by a walking tour including a boat ride and a dip in the lake. (Make sure your son and their siblings bring a bathing suit if you think he/they might like go in the water.) Lunch in our dining room is also provided and allows further opportunities for questions and discussion.

This summer, we will be hosting our Prospective Camper Visiting Days on:

  • Saturday, July 8, 2017 from 11 AM to 2:30 PM* †
  • Thursday, July 20, 2017 from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM
  • Friday, July 21, 2017 from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM
  • Sunday, July 30, 2017 from 11 AM to 2:30PM*

*As noted, these tours are longer and include group sports activities and swimming as well as lunch.

† Campers can either come for this 3 hour program or BLC will be offering an Overnight Experience for prospective campers (July 8-9).  Campers will participate in our pro-day and then after 2 PM, those interested can stay and play, have dinner, be a part of our evening activities, have a campfire, and be a Brant Laker for a night.  Parents will then pick up their boys the next morning after breakfast and some more fun activities.

If you would like to attend one of these visiting days, please contact the camp office in advance so we can make the necessary preparations. Phone: 518-494-2406  Email: info@brantlake.com

If you cannot make one of the above ‘Pro days’, we can also arrange a tour for you by contacting us well in advance of the date you would like to come. We also highly recommend morning tours as you will best be able to see more of our instructional and activities program.
