Key Staff, Freshmen

Sophia Berlin has been a part of Brant Lake Camp for over 10 years. She began as a Brant Lake Dance Camp and Brant Lake Sports Academy camper. As a staff member, Sophia continued with BLDC and BLSA in addition to working as the assistant waterfront director. Sophia’s BLC journey transitioned down the hill to Sophomore Row, where she became the Frosh group head.
After growing up on Long Island, NY, Sophia headed south to attend Elon University in North Carolina where she received a BA in Psychology and Public Health. Following graduation, Sophia worked as a Registered Behavior Technician in North Carolina with children with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Sophia subsequently attended the UNC-Chapel Hill School of Medicine, earning a MS in Clinical Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling. Sophia currently works as a clinical researcher and therapist for the Durham Veteran Affairs Medical Center. In her free time, she enjoys spending time outdoors and playing with her dogs, while looking forward to time at BLC!
