A Typical Day
The length and quantity of the periods, the amount of choice, and degree of competition will vary as to age and skill, but on a typical day all campers have the following elements to their program:
Instructional Sports:
Baseball, Basketball, Tennis, Soccer and Waterfront activities are the staples of the Brant Lake Camp program and we take pride in the quality of instruction in all of these.
Recreational Waterfront:
All boys have the opportunity to get to the waterfront each day for the simple pleasure of enjoying such a beautiful view and variety of activities that we offer (swimming, sailing, water-skiing, kayaking, canoeing, fishing , plus ping pong, beach volleyball or playing on our large sandy beach).
Hobby Period:
Activities include many non-athletic activities such as numerous arts + crafts programs, photography, music, Frisbee golf, computer, radio station, archery; plus adventure activities such as a working out on our climbing wall. Some sports are included in hobbies such as roller-hockey, golf, lacrosse, track and field. These activities are not mandatory, but are available both with good instruction and games.
Intramural games:
Organized games with coaches and officials in baseball, basketball, tennis and soccer
Evening Program:
Vary greatly night to night but include camp shows (twice per week), movies, campfires, outside entertainment, recreational games, socials (based on age), and free play. |
